Can you change from ed visa ( student visa) to marriage one in-country?

Do you have to show at least THB 1 million when applying marriage visa?

You could change the reason for your extension of stay (it is not a visa) from attending a school to a extension of stay based upon marriage marriage to a Thai. You would need 400k baht in the bank on the day your apply for the change.

You will need a letter from your school to cancel your current extension stating your last day of attending classes.

    Yes you can. I did like that 3 years ago, I just switched from ed visa to extension based upon marriage. Everything done without leaving the country. Very easy
