Sattahip police chief Pol Col Panya Damlek sent in a patrol after a 16 year old boy was involved in trouble with his mother, reported INN.

It happened outside a building supply store on Sukhumvit Road.

The pair were taken into the police station.

The boy said he had not attacked his mother just shaken her a bit.

He wanted 400 baht to pay off his outstanding bills for marijuana. He used 100 baht's worth of the drug a time and needed the money or feared he would be attacked for non-payment.

His mum said she only had 100 baht with her and an argument ensued.

The pair were allowed to go home after receiving advice.

Big story over 400 baht.

Just read an article about an 18 year old (boy obvs) who purposefully crashed his Ferrari because his father refused to buy him the latest model.....first world problems....I know exactly how he must have felt.

his legs skin look bad, as a neglected, sick, homeless person. I would  think he is drug addict, ganja was just made up excuse for some drug.

if such, he needs medical care, detox.

I understand the effects of Cannabis, i'm a regular user.

Let's be fair tho, this case is not what the majority of normal cannabis users are like, is it.

Cannabis solves way more problems than it creates.

So they sell ganja on credit? The new loan sharking biz.  What % interest.  Up in smoke!   Kid needs to grow his own.

i wonder how many kids do this over real drugs in thailand daily ?
