The annoyance of the ++ prices
Why not just do what I do: Eat at the uni cafeteria. Most dishes are Bt.25 per dish. No tax. No hidden costs. And, very good food. Plus... You can look at the girls, or they might look at you. Also, a very relaxed atmosphere with super friendly people all about you. There is no better dining bargain than this, ... IMHO.... Give it a try. Not sure about the girls at Chula, though.... -

Anyone looking at the fiasco of MMP in NZ would opt for FPTP. It's been a disaster IMO. We almost bad the worst government in my memory back in power because of deal making behind closed doors. Hardly the "will of the people". Luckily we scraped in for a better one, but it was a near thing. -

One hand on each Every trip to Thailand I say I'm going to do it but never do Please help me with the process I'm thinking Bangkok or Pattaya? Does it hurt ? I just want a green ink hand tattoo on each cheek,no red ink How long does it take ? Is it going to be beautiful How much are you envising it to cost ? I do dislike some foreigners, the ones who come to Thailand and constantly complain about Thailand and it's people, it's infrastructure, it's way of life, the country. Yes, I don't like these badly behaved foreigners, are you one of these type, you keep going on and on. I have many foreigners as close friends, I have co-workers (foreigners) who are also my friends. What is it to you, I have never attacked you, I've never said I hate you, why are you being so offensive? Is your life that shallow and boring that you have to attack me from your warrior keyboard on my every comment I see that you have a lot of hate, you constantly badger me on these forums. Get off the keyboard, get out and about, enjoy yourself in Thailand, try to be a positive, happy person. I hope you get well soon. -

Fallen Tree Crushes & Kills Motorcyclist: Lampang
Picture from responders. . In a heartbreaking incident, a woman riding her motorcycle was killed instantly when a large roadside tree fell on her, completely covering the road with branches and leaves. The incident occurred while she was on her way to visit her husband in a neighbouring village. At around noon on September 21, officers from Chae Son Police Station in Lampang Province received a report of a fatal accident involving a fallen tree and a motorcycle on Ban Thung Road, Moo 4, Chae Son Subdistrict, Mueang Pan District. Local authorities, medical personnel from Mueang Pan Hospital, and a rescue team quickly arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, officials discovered a fallen beech tree, with its branches and leaves entirely blocking the road. Tragically, the body of a 37-year-old woman from Ban Mai Pattana, Moo 8, Chae Son Subdistrict, was found beneath the tree. She had been riding a Honda Wave motorcycle when the tree collapsed. The victim was found face-down, pinned under the bike in a sorrowful scene. Rescue workers had to cut through the tree’s branches to recover her body. Investigations revealed that the woman had left home on her motorcycle to visit her husband. Heavy rains in the area for several consecutive days likely weakened the tree, causing it to fall just as she was passing by, leading to the fatal accident. The woman’s body was taken to the hospital for further examination before being returned to her family for funeral arrangements. -- 2024-09-22 -
