Popular Post Scott
With new COVID variants and subvariants evolving faster and faster, each chipping away at the effectiveness of the leading vaccines, the hunt is on for a new kind of vaccine—one that works equally well on current and future forms of the novel coronavirus. Now researchers at the National Institutes of Health in Maryland think they’ve found a new approach to vaccine design that could lead them to a long-lasting jab. As a bonus, it also might work on other coronaviruses, not just the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19. https://www.yahoo.com/news/vaccine-breakthrough-could-finally-bring-034316828.html 1

Popular Post swm59nj
This is great news. Hopefully this will be a breakthrough. Unfortunately most people here wouldn’t get it if it wasn’t free. The others would just use the new vaccine as an excuse to criticize and complain. 1 2

Purdey
Well after centuries no scientists have been able to cure the common cold. It doesn't mean they won't one day but these viruses that affect humans and animals aren't that easy to cure. Fingers crossed but not holding any breath.

But hey, we all know from our lovely governments that these vaccine are "safe and effective". We are so lucky how well we've been looked after. ???? 1

Have you ever thought that the common cold has not been cured or at least the public have not been told of a cure simply because it is the safest and most effective way to exercise the immune system without causing a dangerous pandemic? Asian influenza, Covid, and many other viruses in the same category are considered killers but the common cold is not, so research into it has probably been deemed unnecessary with the money being spent on more pressing viral problems 1
