Need fast growing tree species: I need to plant trees that will grow 10 meters w/in 2 yrs.
Be careful. Too much shade and some grass types will die , as has just happened to part of our lawn. Had to chop 80% of our 9 year old mango tree back to revive things. -

Thai Baht Exchange Rate So Low How Are You Dealing With It?
Since the Baht is so strong then imports must cost less. This means price of wine in Thailand should drop so my plan is to buy as much wine as possible. Then if the baht never drops at least I have lots of wine to drown my sorrows 😉 -

Following is from a report in a source which cannot be quoted in Thailand, about 9 September 2024: " Income earned inside Thailand during retirement is the only income subject to tax, while personal income from pension, interest, or other income sources in your home country is not subject to income tax in Thailand. This creates a 100% tax-free retirement in Thailand." -

Use front door 😉 - 24/7 Guard will help. I never have had any problems staying in VT2A & B. Same with VT1A&B. VT1A can be noisy. Others not. All have reasonable / cheap rooms and are near sold out in winter. Very popular. -

Thai Baht Exchange Rate So Low How Are You Dealing With It?
Someone with 800k in the bank STILL needs to import money for living off, or is it living on? Some people cannot afford to have 800k sitting in a bank earning nothing. So if one can absorbs the rate changes temporarily, you are better off. The difference between 65k @ 44 or 46 is only 56 quid. nothing to really fret about. -

I am in Chiang Mai for a long weekend. I charged up at the Bangchak station with two Rêver chargers, I had to wait 35 minutes to get a free charger, but at least my journey from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai was free and I watched Netflix in the car whilst I was waiting -

Dog Relocation from USA to Thailand?
I want to move my dog to Thailand. I need to fly the dog from LAX to BKK. The dog is an 80 pound Goldendoodle. I've tried calling different airlines, but no luck so far. Anybody know of any airlines that will help me?
