elsie Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 In denial with Dave? Oh well, it's nice not to think about the awful truth too much, you know..
john b good Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 I would like to be younger. There are a number of things I would do differently given a chance. BUT for sure I am younger now, than I will be tomorrow when I wake up.
Bluecat Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 Sometimes, I feel so old that I wonder why I'm still alive. Sometimes, I feel so young that I wonder what death is. How old am I? Does it really matter?
nmesparrow Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 wow, mostly middle aged men moving to thailand. never would have thought it i am 29 though, but nobody believes me. everyone thinks i'm like 21 to 24. probably because i'm asian, they say we look young and all.
TizMe Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 Thirty years and two weeks. Thirty years and seven hundred and forty four weeks.
konangrit Posted July 6, 2004 Author Posted July 6, 2004 Thirty years and two weeks. Another one in the Dave/Lovely denial club.
Padkapow Guy Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 I am old enough to know better but to young to care. "unless the wife is around."
Jeff1 Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 The only thing I miss about not being young is my hair ( just kidding , I have most of it ) group D for me
RDN Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Group E for me - but I did have a look at the results before I voted. (Not much use in this poll, but might be useful in others... )
Stocky Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 wow, mostly middle aged men moving to thailand. never would have thought it i am 29 though, but nobody believes me. everyone thinks i'm like 21 to 24. probably because i'm asian, they say we look young and all. Rubbish, most of those in the poll are still in their prime, middle age is always about 10 years ahead of you
tuky Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 no matter what, I am a young guy. noo ne can have a prolem with that...
konangrit Posted July 15, 2004 Author Posted July 15, 2004 Well, thanks to everyone for participating in this poll. It seems everyone who wanted to vote has had enough time to vote has and with 153 voting (over 1% of members) we can see that the winner is Group C (30-39) narrowly from Group D (40-49). Now for the bit which will have all the statisticians amongst you salivating. By taking the average age from each group, multiplying that by the number in that group, adding the results from each group together and then dividing it by the total numbers of votes cast we can come to the average ThaiVisa.com members age, which is: 43 years, 85 days, 21 hours, 10 minutes, and 35 seconds.* So even though we have more people from Group C, the average member is actually in Group D. *+/- 2% (Poll carried out by mori between june/july 2004 on a sample of 153 thaivisa.com members contacted via internet web board)
The Gentleman Scamp Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 Thirty. Didn't really need the poll did we.
konangrit Posted July 15, 2004 Author Posted July 15, 2004 Didn't really need the poll did we. Not really, I just wanted to try out the poll function and thought it was a non-inflammatory question which could give me some figures to work with Why kill off Ambassador? I found him quite amusing

I found him quite amusing Fair play mate. Ambassador may not be dead, he's away for thirty days as a result of an unsavoury thread, not because he was me... Time will tell if he is ever allowed to return.
