Did True pay for the rights to exclusively broadcast these 16 matches?

Edited by Xonax

AIS and other digital service providers could have cut a deal with TRUE I suppose. But the whole thing was a rushed last minute job as usual, meaning millions of people are unable to watch all the free to air matches.  Nobody looks good, least of all the Gov.

When did this Government here ever look good; they can't even fix the price of Lottery Tickets and make it stick !

No. In the first instance there is a 'free to air' principle.

They contributed about 25%, but formed an unholy alliance with CP.

But it's really the Commision's fault for letting them do it.  And this happened because they were underfunded by the Gov.

SNAFU

I gave up with Thai sports commentaries sounding like they are broadcasting from a toilet years ago. I can highly recommend https://getflix.com/ . BBC iPlayer and the new ITVX have been working perfectly for the matches so far. There is even a free 14-day trial, no CCard details needed. Easy to set up.

Is True getting their 300 million returned?

Might want to save that one for the knock-out stages (if you support one of the fancied teams)

Just to remind people of what really should be the case.  This is what is happening in Vietnam and most likely the rest of the football supporting world https://footballarroyo.co.uk/watch-fifa-world-cup-on-vtv/

I'm watching on CCtv5+ courtesy of  CCP on Thipanee.  Also on internet I have BBC via Express VPN. Doofootball on internet works although often freezing and it's fiddly  trying to find an English commentary  and I have to turn off the  VPN

Has anyone found a list of which Thai TV channels are broadcasting matches each day please?
