Does a left earring mean a bottom gay and vice versa?

No idea, but many years ago, in the UK, when I was on a trolley being wheeled to the operating theatre, one of the nurses spotted that I had an earing and a stud, in each ear. They had to hurriedly tape them up, before I was in the theatre.
The Nurse asked me if I was gay, because of the earrings. "I'm having a vasectomy" I said, "what do you think"?

Don`t know.....me Dad used to call them "poofters" though.....I can only guess what he would say if he saw guys with manbags nowadays.......

In this context: does a Thai gay man with a right earring mean a top gay?

He maybe wants to know so that he can put his earing in the correct ear and find his (new) suitable boyfriend!

In the UK in the 80s it was a thing that a right earing was gay, but it was a long long time ago, and silly even then.

I don't think earrings carry those meanings anymore here.

This must be a wind up or troll post by the op. 

 

Earring / no earing, left / right side...... it does not mean anything.  

 

Straight and gay men can have earrings and wear them any side.  

 

If the op fancies the guy with the earring he should just ask him about himself.  If op is not gay why is he concerned with what the guy gets up to?
