More ancient cave paintings found in Ubon Ratchathani

Pattaya loan sharks reportedly kidnap and attack 21-year-old female debtor

Progressive movement hopes for endorsement of Bill to decentralise power

Substandard durian on sale in China not imported from Thailand

Durian, reported to be on sale in some Chinese cities, were not exported from Thailand, but are substandard produce from elsewhere, according to Alongkorn Polabutr, an advisor to Agriculture Minister Chalermchai Sri-on and a member of Thailand’s Fruit Board.

Pig movement in Chiang Mai halted to prevent spread of African Swine Fever

Pig farmers in Doi Saket district of Chiang Mai Province have been ordered, by livestock development officials, not to move their pigs off their farms, as a precautionary measure to prevent the possible spread of African Swine Fever (ASF).

Police seize ฿400m in assets from group of Chinese businessmen

Thai police impounded three luxury houses, a penthouse and ten luxury cars today (Tuesday), with a combined value of over 400 million baht, which are believed to belong to a group of Chinese businessmen allegedly involved in “grey” businesses in Thailand.

Stock market trades in Thailand to be taxed
