Re-entry permit form for non-O visa

Hi,

 

Can anyone tell me where to obtain a copy of the form I need to fill in to obtain a re-entry permit for a non-O retirement visa. I will leave Bangkok later this week and understand I need to complete this and hand it in at the airport.

You use this TM8 form. Fillable TM8 re-entry permit form.pdf

My local immigration office stamped my passport with a IMMIGRATION THAILAND RE-ENTERY PERMIT (

The caps are as on the stamp.  It also notes that the fee was paid.  It cost 1000 baht and I was given a receipt too.

OP, which airport are you departing from?

Reentry permit is 1000baht single and 3800 multiple..

The TM8 form requires a photo.

The office for reentry permit is Zone 2. 

Past security control and PRIOR to passport control.

At BKK they provide service to fill in form , provide photo etc. 200baht.

Personally I prefer to have the form already prepared along with photo.

one other issue, the TM8 askes for date near when I might return. As I am leaving on a one way ticket is there much flexability on the date I will give here, i.e. i expect to be away for 2 months but may extend to 3 months, might this be an issue upon my return.

The departure and retune dates are not important and some office will accept the form without them being completed.

The dates are not on the re-entry permit stamp.

Ignore that 

Just write any date or nothing. 

Same applies for departure date if reentry permit is obtained at immigration.
