TonyBB 17
I just got a 45-day visa exempt stamp on arrival, and my outgoing flight will be on the "until" date. My question is how they interpret "until." Will I be OK departing on that date or will this be considered a 1-day overstay?
nigelforbes 3174
You worry too much, you're fine with your flight date, as I suspect you already realize.
DrJack54 20841
You can depart on the "until date"
richard_smith237 48712
Is there an ‘interpretation’ to be made here ?? The stamp is a ‘statement of fact’... You can stay until xxx date. There is no statement that you have to leave a day before xxx date.
chuang 1969
If you are paranoid about it why can't you depart a day's earlier minus all the anxiety...unless !
cme 26
Your permit is valid up to midnight (24:00) on the 'Until' date. 1

Plus your flight need not depart before 24:00, it can leave after midnight (so 1am, 2am, etc.), you just need to pass through immigration and be stamped out on or before the date.
