Gandtee
I want to buy a new computer and it will be paid for by a relation in NZ. Is it possible to transfer the payment by the internet directly to the seller at the time of purchase? Bearing in mind the time difference and exchange rates.? KhunBENQ
And you? Do you have a Thai bank account? If so, why would the person not send an approximate amount to your account?

Obviously, internet banking transfers can be done but the only people who can answer your specific question are the computer seller and the person sending the money. No one here can answer those questions. 3
KhunBENQ
Sending an exact amount of Thai Baht and in an instant? If possible at all Western Union might be an option. Expect bad rate/high cost. Transferwise has some options to hold and send money in Thai Baht. But quite an effort to setup just for one transaction. Clueless. Having it charged to your relative's credit card is the obvious solution and probably the only option if you want instant payment by your relative. Alternatively your relative could send the money to you via Western Union, or Wise if you have a Thai bank account, and then you could pay cash directly.
