June 28, 200719 yr I'm not sure what kind of monster-monitors you are using, but I have to settle with a couple of old that works at 1024x768. Which also happends to be the most common resolution amongst surfers. ThaiVisa however seems to cater to users that can sport atleast double that in resolution, that is the only explanation as to why I have to scroll down one full page to see the header for a topic after clicking it, past ad-banner, 2 high google-ads and whitespace. Right now the page is close to a designers nightmare in terms of keeping 'customers'. Edited June 28, 200719 yr by TAWP
June 29, 200719 yr Please reload the page, and report back. I think you had a cached copy of the page. Thanks.
June 29, 200719 yr Which also happens to be the most common resolution amongst surfers. Why bring the surfing community into it? Do they have more say than other members? And, anyway, if anything they're probably in the minority here as there isn't really much of a surf scene in Thailand, no real surfable beaches.
June 29, 200719 yr Author dantilley>> Web-surfers, oh-you of laughter. =) (And I will reframe from joking about big waves...) George>> No, it wasn't a cache-problem, I just happened to be here at the time you where playing around with the ads. Later saw the medium banner being placed on the left side of the full table and the full layout being aligned to the right, but since I knew then that you were working on the page I didn't bother to write anything. Thank god that google-layout was fixed anyway, noticed that including forum-specific banners (sponsors) it would be more then one page of scrolling. =)
June 29, 200719 yr Since today I have a kind of different colouring* on the pages.....is that on purpose or is it on my side (in China now) and don't know how to adjust. Thanks * Sorry, can't describe it, due to my colour-blindness; and wife is not here to explain properly... LaoPo
