I suspect a hacker scanned my LINE QR code on my android mobile. Should I uninstall the LINE app and shut the phone down and buy a new one ?

Featured Replies

A question for the IT gurus ....

I suspect a person ( chinese )  I was chatting with a couple on nights ago was a hacker,  he scanned my LINE QR code.

I am concerned about what he may have access to ... such as personal details, contacts, email inbox ... etc ...   I aready generated a new LINE QR code if that helps but should I uninstall the LINE app and shut down this mobile and buy a new one ?

What should I do  ?

I don't ....   it was at a restaurant.   After thinking about him scanning my QR code I realized he was suspect. Do i need to delete that LINE app and install a new one or is that a waste as he already scanned the QR. ?

Don't worry about it. He has access to nothing.

He can add you as friend. Nothing else. And you can block him at any time.

All "Smart Phones" running Andriod and iOS are essentially spy and hack devices that are built at the core to strip and resell privacy information.  Just saying.

he can contact you via line, that is it...but maybe he catfish you as your dream girl.
