Cricket - England completed a historic 3-0 clean sweep over Pakistan inside 40 minutes on the fourth day of the final Test in Karachi.

Needing 55 more runs, England needed just over 11 overs to reach their target of 167. England, on their first Test tour of Pakistan in 17 years, became the first visiting team to win three matches in a series in the country.

Football -  Football Australia has issued the first two of many lifetime bans it expects to hand out as part of its ongoing investigation into the pitch invasion that left a player and a referee injured during the abandoned A-League derby. A Football Australia statement yesterday said that the ban was handed to a spectator known as "Bucket Man" and one other patron. "The 23-year-old has been found guilty by Football Australia of entering the field of play without authorisation and using an item (bucket) with the intent to cause damage or harm.

Now surprises in last night's English Carabao Cup matches played. All through to the quarter finals are : Newcastle United, Leicester City, Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers with new coach Julen Lopetegui getting off to a winning start .

Golf - Players who have signed up to the controversial LIV Golf circuit will be allowed to play at the 2023 Masters, Augusta officials have confirmed. LIV players, which include previous Masters champions Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson, have been suspended indefinitely from the PGA Tour.
