A House meeting in Thailand’s parliament was abruptly adjourned yesterday afternoon (Thursday), after Deputy House Speaker Suchart Tancharoen told MPs that he was hungry.

 

The sudden end to the meeting was ordered by Suchart, despite the fact that House Speaker Chuan Leekpai was in the chamber, waiting to take over the chairing of the meeting.

 

Chuan is reported to have told Suchart that his act was damaging to parliament and Suchart was seen “waiing” (the gesture of placing palms together in front of the chest) Chuan, saying “I take the responsibility.”

claiming that there were several MPs loitering outside the chamber.

 

Sounds fitting for most politicians around the World , not just Thailand,

but canceling a meeting because your hungry  ! , you would think they

would be ashamed collecting their paychecks.

So the country has to wait because 1 man is hungry... and he has to eat so much that the meeting could not be starting again after he had his meal???

Let's face it, the first priority is money, closely followed by food, so in this case the first priority is probably Ok meaning food now takes precedence .....  

After reading Thaibpsworld  news report, I think it's fair to say it seems like Thai kindergarten is in session....

I would have thought money closely followed by sex with a mia noi or a prostitute, anyone but the wife, then alcohol, food being a distant third.
