tomgreen 117
I have a large bangkaew bitch ( Called - Mee Mee ) who has developed a red patch on her skin , other than that red skin area, Mee Mee seems to be in general good health. I live in a rural location and the nearest vet is about 190 km away ( round trip ) Before I make that long journey I thought I would ask if any one here may have an idea what the red skin on my bangkaew may be due to. I know its difficult to diagnose a problem , but any advice or suggestions that may help Mee Mee before she has to take the 190km trip on the back of my pickup to see a vet , would be most appreciated. Popular Post Crossy 46050
Could be many things. Our two Chihuahuas (yes, about as far away from your lady as one can get) sometimes get fungal infections that look very like that. Madam gets "gentian violet" from the farm shop which clears it up pretty well. Of course, it does dye the dog purple! (use disposable rubber gloves). The look of abject terror on the faces of delivery drivers when two, bright purple, dogs come bounding out is worth it. 1 1
ThaiFelix 4346
Some more pics would be good, difficult to determine location. Is her head up in the pic? If so I am wondering if some irritation from her choker collar like nickle allergy or pinching? 1
Popular Post CharlieH 43687
Can I use zinc and castor oil cream on my dog? This can be used in dogs and cats in small amounts. Sudocrem contains zinc-oxide which is highly toxic to birds. Zinc-oxide is also toxic to dogs and cats if ingested in large quantities, but applying a thin layer of sudocrem to sore or irritated skin is generally safe and can be beneficial. ***For information purposes only and is not a recommendation or substitute for vetenary advice **** 2

jvs 11822
Ivermectin will clear that up,looks the same as some soi dogs that are sometimes totally hairless. Most vets around here have syringes with Ivermectin sitting on the counter ready for use. Also works for internal parasites and ticks.

Yes we give that to our dogs against Ticks, the 8000 is for big dogs. One whole pill for 30kg.You can half them they are marked for that. It is an excellent product, this was my first choice but i did not think you would have it. We buy a whole box for 120 baht, some vets sell just one pill for up to 100 baht. You can buy this online also.
