It was NOT coffee from Germany - Thai customs seize 18 MB in Ecstasy

Siam Rath reported that staff at the central GPO office in Hualampong, Bangkok, became suspicious about a consignment of tea and coffee.

 

They called in the customs and other police who soon found a very suspect delivery of coffee from Germany in three packages intermingled among the tea.

They had a feel and decided to use a reagent to test for drugs and the brown and white crystals came up positive for Ecstasy.

 

The 3.01 kgs haul was worth 18 million baht.
