Hi all and a good evening.

Been searching for hours with no joy, has anyone bought the above or seen a Kymco dealers anywhere ?

Would be prepared to import if anyone has done this problem free.

I am in Cha-Am.

Thanks for reading.

I run a Kymco 300 in the UK and it's a great scooter - Kawasaki were so impressed that they marketed a re-badged version -  but there are plenty of decent alternatives in Thailand and I would certainly never contemplate the hassle and grief of doing a personal import.

An MV Agusta would be a different matter!

Not many Kymco or Sym from Taiwan here, the reason is:

Thailand close friend of China...!

+

China not like Taiwan....!

=

Thailand stay away from Taiwan...!

Many years since I did logic ...!? ????

Lucky for Japanese bikes, not much competition for them....!

Some great scooters from Kymco and Sym, but not really worth it here, think of parts and experience mechanics, just go with Honda and Yamaha, they are not too bad either...!?

Thanks for the input lads.

@Issanman, that is a mighty fine looking Burgman ????, a bit more than i wanted to spend but i will now do some research on the 400, i know they have a great reputation. Thanks.

@ London Lowf, Thanks for advice. I read about the Kawasaki rebranding and the

fact they make engines for other major brands, hence the interest in Kymco, i can now cross them off my list as there are no dealers in Thailand. Cheers.

@Agusts, It all makes sense now why i was having trouble finding a Kymco dealer,

I appreciate the explanation.

I have a 2023 300 Yamaha Roadsync/Techmax on order with no commitment to buy. I was just looking for something a little quicker off the mark to slot into traffic, the Yamaha 400 is an option but very expensive for what it is, the 400 Kymco seemed to tick all the boxes and at a great price too. Maybe i will look into ways

to make the Yamaha a little quicker from standstill to 100kmh.

Off to do some research on the Burgman, Thanks again for the advice gents.

Go look at the Burgman 400 in person. It is quite impressive.

I wish I had a place to keep one.
