Anupong Says No To Post-Election Politics

INTERIOR MINISTER ANUPONG Paochinda said today (Dec.29) he will no longer get involved in politics after the next general election.

 

The interior minister told reporters he has considered himself as being today “too old” to keep going on in the political arena after the election, likely scheduled for early next year.

 

The unelected Anupong categorically dismissed speculation that he might probably apply for membership of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party which has reportedly planned to name Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha as partisan candidate for head of a post-election government.

"The interior minister told reporters he has considered himself as being today “too old” to keep going on in the political arena after the election"...... then he should step down just like the old politicians in the US like Nancy Pelosi and Diane Feinstein.
