Entry Requirements, Returning Long Stay Expat

Featured Replies

I hadn't paid much attention because I wasn't planning on going anywhere, now that we are considering a UK trip this year I would like to understand the requirements for when I return.

I'm here on an extension of stay based on marriage. Will I need to show proof of medical insurance in Thailand when I return and are there any other requirements I have to meet, apart from buy ticket, obtain re-entry permit, TM30, catch plane and travel?

TIA

Buy ticket, obtain re-entry permit, catch plane and travel - nothing else required.

That's all.

You can obtain your reentry permit at immigration if it's convenient or at the airport upon departure..

I recently entered and had my vax records however not required at any stage. Bangkok to AU return.

I have my vax records on my phone on the Thai MOH app., it's pretty neat.

Indeed.

I also had hard copy thinking the airline may do something weird.

They did not. Nothing is checked.

BTW facemasks not required on flight. Was optional.
