Interior Ministry ranks top for most complaints from the public

Secretary-General of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission, Bhumivisan Kasemsook, said today (Tuesday) that the National Anti-Corruption Command Centre received 2,351 complaints from the public between June 22nd, 2000 and December 28th, 2022, of which 1,430 have been investigated and concluded. 912 cases are currently being processed.

Rail plate screws removed in attempt to sabotage train services in Hat Yai

Southern train services, from Hat Yai to Khlong Ngae station in Sadao district of Songkhla, were temporarily suspended after railway officials discovered that many plate screws and five rail sleeper plates had been removed from the track.

BANGKOK (NNT) - The latest iteration of the Shop Dee Mee Khuen program commenced on January 1. The program is aimed at stimulating spending and helping stores and sellers increase volume. Shopping malls and petrol stations are now issuing more detailed tax invoices to buyers who intend to make use of the program.

A nursery (child care centre) in the northeastern Thai province of Nong Bua Lamphu, which became the scene of Thailand’s deadliest mass killing, re-opens today. The Uthai Sawan nursery in the district of Na Klang hit the headlines 3 months ago, when a sacked police officer carried out a gun and knife attack that killed 36 people, most of them very young children.

Bangkok’s new train terminus to be formally opened on January 19th
