Photo courtesy of Da Nang police A man in Da Nang is under investigation by local police for killing three pedestrians while driving under the influence of alcohol. At around 5:20 p.m. on December 16 last year, Truong Van Nhat, 27, was driving a pickup truck on Quang Nam Road towards Mai Dang Chon Street. As the vehicle approached the Dong Khoa Bridge, Nhat rammed into two motorbikes, killing Nguyen Tan Khoa, 48, Le Thi Thanh Nga, 44, and Vo Thi Hong Suong, 25. Nhat did not stop, but continued to drive down the road, dragging the motorbikes and their riders underneath his vehicle and killing them.
