A bomb blast has killed a defense volunteer and injured two others In Narathiwat.

8 officers were riding on 4 motorcycles when the blast occurred hitting the 4th bike, gunshots were fired by a group of unidentified men who stole the gun used by the dead volunteer. 

 

Thai officials say they found assets belonging to adult children of Myanmar's junta leader during a raid on a Bangkok apartment,  the property belongs to a wealthy Myanmar individual Tun Min Latt, who was arrested last September along with 3 Thai nationals on charges of conspiracy to traffic narcotics and money laundering.

 

Police arrested A woman after she allegedly cheated a  teenage student out of 14,000 baht. After posting a video on youtube, the boy responded then realized the promotion was fraudulent and asked for his money back without success. The boy was then found to have committed suicide by hanging himself in a tree.,
The 33 year old woman from Ayuthaya has been charged with computer crimes. 

 

Thailand plans to start collecting a 300 baht or US$9 dollar fee from foreign tourists arriving in the country starting in June, the government says the money will be used to support visitors involved in accidents and develop tourist destination.

Japanese and British  prime ministers signed what was describ ed as a "hugely significant" new defence deal allowing British troops to be deployed in Japan.

Korea: A group of Russians who fled  to avoid being drafted to fight in the Ukraine war say their application for asylum has been rejected. 

The five men have been living in Seoul’s Incheon airport for months 

And have taken legal action against the korean government in a bid to stay. The court is expected to reach a decision at the end of January.
