Daily News Thai Caption: Murderer surrenders

Daily News reported on the latest developments following the fatal shooting of a snooker caretaker in Suan Luang, Bangkok on Tuesday night.

Suphan or "Geng", 31, was named in a Phrakhanong warrant for murder in the death of a man named as Nakhonnakha or "Ice", also 31.

The incident outside a tire shop also injured a man called Benz, 25. He had been making trouble for Suphan online.

Suphan had been having a long running feud over a woman on Facebook and the rivals were meeting face to face to sort things out.

But after a fistfight had him losing, Suphan resorted to a .22, a weapon that he later tossed into a klong.

Suphan gave himself up to the custody of the Sriracha police after fleeing with his girlfriend on a Yamaha bike.

He said this was nothing of her making.

He is now in the custody of the Klong Tan police in the Thai capital facing the murder charge, an attempted murder charge and weapons offences.

The cops did well to find the (a) handgun in the Klong....given the water in any of Bangkoks klongs offer zero visibility at probably less than 1 foot..:)
