Siam Rath reported on the latest developments in an online fraud case involving an older woman called Sirilak or Pecky.

She advertised second hand designer bags from Japan for sale and was featured on the Facebook page of the CSD back in 2018.

A total of 1,000 victims were defrauded of 20 million baht. Most got nothing after ordering the bags, some got something they didn't order.

Bail was denied for a woman named as "Oey" at the Bangkok Southern criminal court. She was a second defendant in the case.

Prosecutors claimed she was a flight risk.

She was taken to jail.
