webfact
Video screenshot Police officers from a special Hanuman task force connected to the Crime Suppression Division served arrest and search warrants on a husband and wife pair of safe-crackers in Roi-Et, north eastern Thailand. The police had been informed in January of a series of 32 thefts at PT gas stations across 14 provinces in the Isaan Region. Two properties were searched. At the first - a house owned by a man called Marut, 33, and his wife Phusanisa, 26 - police announced their intention to search but got no response. Police broke in to the house in Niwet sub-district in Tawatburi and found Marut alone, reported Thai Rath. Tools used in safe cracking crimes, a Mazda pick-up and a phone were taken into evidence along with the suspect. At the wife's parents' home in Nong Phai the wife was found. The couple were experts and well organised. They targeted gas stations on weekends and PT said that on some occasions security men were threatened with guns. The thieves have admitted the offences that netted 2 million baht in cash. The husband had lost his job and they needed money to meet mortgage payments and instalments on a vehicle. A video showed one of their thefts late at night when the thieves entered via a forced window. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-02-06 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. steven100
why has it taken 32 safes cracked before they finally found their man ? it shows any CIB or police investigative department of how inept these guys must be at their job. Do they not know how forensics and other tools work to nail a criminal. ?
