Coming soon from WISE

Featured Replies

Had an email of "coming soon" from Wise which may be of interest to others.

Especially those interested in alternative paymebt methods from a selling point of view.

"You’ll soon be able to access low-cost card payments with Wise, built for global businesses. Request and accept card payments in multiple currencies — and have the money land directly in your Wise account.

Global payments, in one place. Request, receive (and soon, refund) card payments in 10+ major currencies, including USD, EUR and GBP.

Payment visibility. Get notified as soon as your customer pays you, and again when your money."

1% or 2.9% fees depending on the card

1% when your paid from a card issued in the UK, 2.9% from a business or personal card outside the UK.

Obviously this is aimed at those with UK accounts.

No disrespect but that makes no sense, you have the account details same as paying anyone else, so whats stopping you ?

The fact they don't transfer Baht out.

They are working on it and you can sign-up to get notified if/when they accomplish it.

So, if you have a Thai account with Wise, you cannot move money from there to your other account within Wise ?

Never tried as never needed to, but I take what they said, and are still saying, at face value e.g.

I registered for Wise from Thailand, whilst I can send money to Wise from my accounts in Singapore and the UK I can't send from my accounts in Thailand. It is something they say they are working on, as is a debit card for Thai customers, but I'm not holding my breath.
