Pattaya — An honest baht bus driver returned a bag with 4,000 euros that he spotted in the back of his car to a Finnish woman.

The bag also contained the woman’s smart phone and other valuables, according to Rao Rak Pattaya (We Love Pattaya) Facebook.

The baht bus driver was only identified by his nickname as “Lek.” He tried to contact the woman, who wasn’t identified, via her hotel he had picked her up at and was finally able to find her and return the bag.

Wow, first the Russian woman on Phuket with her expensive earrings, and now the Finnish woman carrying around a large amount of €, and all in the past 24 hours! Seems that tourists in Thailand are very careless, and Thais very honest... Makes you almost forget recent news about police shakedowns.

Almost

If true, she should be put on 1st plane home and not left outside her country again until she grows up.

Waiting for an honest taxi-driver story about any of the hundreds of taximeters with meters that don't work.  Or a police prosecution.

With the honest taxi drivers still incarcerated the maid has a backlog of rooms to make up in steps the baht bus driver to save the day in this mysterious land of make-believe ????
