Pattaya — A man allegedly driven by the influence of marijuana tried to steal a motorbike from a teenage female student and got beaten by her older brother.

Nong Prue Police received a report of a man who caused a commotion in Eakmongkol Village 1 located in Pattaya’s Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung district around 10 PM on Thursday, February 9th, and responded to the scene.

Many villagers were at the scene, circling the suspect only identified as Ju. The 19-year-old suffered bruises and bleeding. The police told The Pattaya News that Ju seemed dazed, confused, and could not speak properly. Also present at the scene was an unidentified schoolgirl, 14, who accused the suspect of trying to steal her motorbike.

The girl stated that while she was riding her motorbike to get some dinner, Ju rushed down from his apartment, jumped on her motorbike, and said “Please give me your motorbike.”

LOL, now the weed police will be after another legislation to restrict weed. I had this Thailand planned for my retirement years now that may go into flame. Looks like I have to rely on motor cycle weed supplier in my retirement years.

What's more worrying is that a 14 year old school girl was going out on her motorcycle at 10pm to get some dinner?

Nobody high on ganga would act like this. Sounds like something far more serious, at play here.

This story goes out to all those people on here supporting weed being made legal ! Thais cannot handle alcohol, for the love of God don't give them more drugs

He is simply lying through his teeth. Sadly the National sport, taught from birth.  A very strange element of Thai society.

Totally agree.

If he wasn't dazed and confused before, he certainly was after the brother gave him a beating.

All the above posters have ignored:
His dad, who arrived at the station after learning about his son’s arrest, backed up his son’s claim, saying his son was also mentally ill and suffered from depression....The dad promised that he would take better care of his son and admit him to a hospital to cure his mental illness and cannabis addiction.

They gave him a good beating, which is good, but sent him on his way to town to go steal a foreigner's bike instead, which they have no problem with!

ganja mixed with a few changs and/or lao khao or meth etc could be possible but ganja alone?

i highly doubt that....ganja tends to make people want to sit around and listen to music or look at the stars. and eat potato chips.....not go attack people like booze/meth...

Why? Do you think that she should be tucked up in bed with her teddy bear by 10pm?

OR do you think it's dangerous because of all the rapists looking to assault young girls?

Whatever, the perpetrator got what he deserved IMO.
