Buying Gold Bullion In Thailand

Featured Replies

Hello

Has anyone bought gold bullion in Thailand as an investment? I would be interested to hear any experiences you have had on this topic or any advice you might offer.

Jane

you should use YLG Bullion in sathorn. they offer both the internationally traded 1 kg bars and the thai ones which are much smaller with weights of 10-30 baht. one baht of weight is roughly 15.3 grams. please see www.ylgbullion.com

I bought few baht of this stuff , in china town ( yawolat ) every gold shop sell some , 1-2-5-10 .

Easy to buy , easy to sell but only in Thailand , take oversea will be a different story !

I have searched this forum using the keywords 'gold' and 'investment' etc. but have returned no replies relevant to my queries.

i was looking at buying bars in chinatown too, seems a better investment then saving in a bank account. I just wanted to know others thoughts on this subject.
