webfact Posted February 14, 2023 Share Posted February 14, 2023 Picture: Siam Rath Siam Rath reported that police, hospital medics and rescue services in Lampang, northern Thailand, went to the scene of an accident near a U-turn on the Lampang to Jaehom Road in Muang district. They found a damaged Honda Wave on its side and its rider, Suthep, 49, injured. He had no recollection as to what happened and was taken to hospital. Picture: Siam Rath A Mazda BT 50 pick-up had hit the motorcycle then collided with and damaged a fence of a private property that was just 2 meters away from where dozens of people were in line at a food shop. Weerachon, 49, was behind the wheel of the pick-up but was uninjured. Picture: Siam Rath It appeared that he had had some kind of seizure. CCTV showed and witnesses confirmed that the pick-up had come out of a side soi, crossed the two lanes of traffic and hit the motorcyclist and fence. ezzra Posted February 14, 2023 Share Posted February 14, 2023 (edited) Can't do much when a driver gets a seizure but you can do plenty to make riders wear helmets and shoes like in this case, i often wonder what are the real road fatalities numbers in this country, i bet the authorities don't you to know...
