Gandtee
The Thai Post Office refused to accept a small package of a silver bracelet, value Bt3000 to be sent to the UK. Checking with DHL, a door to door delivery would cost almost as much as the item and a possible a charge to the recipient. Is there another way to send this item? Popular Post worgeordie
Why would they refuse to accept it ? , maybe try another Office , those agent offices seem easier to deal with ,posting a letter the other day they had me fill out one of those small customs declarations and stick it on a one page letter !!!1 , plus having to show ID , they are going crazy with regulations... regards worgeordie 3
Popular Post Liverpool Lou
Can I send valuable object, money and jewelry? Valuable objects, i.e. gold, white gold, silver, gemstone, jewelry, gem, coin, banknote, bill of exchange or any other printed matter which can execute the payment to the holder, traveler’s check, or any other valuable objects are prohibited for the international express courier service (EMS). The mentioned items can be delivered by international express courier service with insurance service (add-on). The conditions will conform to the policies of the destination country. You could just tell them that it is something that is not on the prohibited list but then you'll lose any right to redress in the case of a problem. 3
Social Media
I would suggest , if asked that its fashion jewellery and downgradd the value, otnerwise its EMS which wouldnt be financially viable IMHO.
Marc Weber
Don't tell them what's inside. Send it by E-packet to the UK (not airmail or EMS).

It doesn't but, then, he doesn't want "to facilitate it's arrival in Thailand", he wants to send it to the UK.

By the way, if TP wont accept his package they are not cheap and a price comparison between one company that offers a service and another that doesn't offer that service is ridiculous.
TravelerEastWest
All the courier companies are usually expensive - but find a friend or local business taht has an account with volume discounts the price can drop to less than half the public rate
