Do you really need 234 police officers to 'inspect' walking street or any other street for that matter? what was that walk all about only the police knows but 'inspection' walk it wasn't.

Oh I love these media events, lol

What <deleted>^it.

The 234 police officers would be better off leaving the tourists alone

Must have been a very welcoming sight for the world renowned family friendly resort.

If I, as a naïve tourist newly arrived in Thailand, saw an army of uniformed, armed men coming my way, I'd beat feet and never set foot there again.

Meanwhile, as other streets were devoid of working police.....

As are the police for their devotion to money, ignorance of crime and lack of concern about road deaths.

Meanwhile there was a stampede of prostitutes at the open end with a buy one get one free offer ????

Look, they did find 234 prostitutes in Pattaya...

to prostitute yourself (disapproving): to use your skills, abilities, etc. to do something that earns you money but that other people do not respect

So, among many other things  the local police are now  qualified health and safety experts  !!

Nothing instill more confidence than march of armed 234 officers of law in a land of pretties. Of course pimps can’t stay away from their ‘deals’
