Siam Rath reported on a case of the return of a forgotten bag from a man who was doing his washing in the middle of the night.

Everything was normal for Mr M.K., 27, who was cleaning his clothes at a launderette in the Wang Thong Lang  police jurisdiction at 4 am.

That was until he got home and realized he had forgotten his 27,000 baht Prada bag, a diamond ring worth 17,000 baht, sunglasses worth 3,000 baht, bank book, credit card and room key.

He filed a report with police at 10 am to find the thief for the items that together were worth 47,000 baht.

But there wasn't a thief.

A member of the public called Mohammad Yusoh, 25, was shown on CCTV showing his phone number to be contacted to return the bag.

Soon the bag was reunited with its owner as police acted as witnesses.

Station chief Pol Col Jessada Yangnork presented Mohammad with a Certificate of Honor and a cash reward for his public spiritedness under the station's "Tham Dee Mee Rangwan" (Do good, get a reward) scheme.
