July 3, 200719 yr Why does my Non-O multi-entry visa say "Extension of Stay Not Permitted". My last Non-B visa also said this....do all visas have this stamped on them? Can I still apply for a 1 year extension at the end of this visa?? Thanks
July 3, 200719 yr Yes, if you have he right paperwork. Embassies all round the world have been using these stamps for +25 years.
July 3, 200719 yr Yep, I concur with Astral, 'twill be no problem. My non-o from Cardief (yes that's what the stamp says) had the 'no extension of stay' stamp, totally ignored by immigration when I extended "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
July 3, 200719 yr It just alerts you that you can not obtain the normal 30 day extension of a tourist visa. It can still be extended for valid reasons.
