On Tuesday (Feb 28), Mr. Satean Charoenyuen, the Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan, presided over the launch of a campaign to promote mandatory car insurance amongst motorists, as well as the wearing of helmets amongst motorcyclists. According to the law in Thailand, all drivers must have car insurance, while motorcyclists must wear a helmet. This campaign was launched following the high number of road accidents in Prachuap Khiri Khan, where most of the victims were motorcyclists who did not wear helmets. How can they seriously expect the people to put if they don’t Edited March 1, 2023 by Foghorn

observer90210
Good move as with all the expats who do not have proper insurance that will fly them back in a special plane in cas of illness/accident. Health insurance may be fine, but above all insurance to be repatriated is more important.
