I'm wondering if its important where you wear yellow clothing when in Thailand.

I have yellow on my shorts as well as yellow underwear.

Is that considered bad form?

It was last year and on mondays.

Some people are short on clothes and will continue to wear them - and often on other days too...

Remind me what are the lucky day-colours ?

Wear King yellow shirt when going to immigration office...

Craven suck-up behavior, I concede...but the powers-that-be like it, and for me it's just another shirt to wear.... :o

It is only bad form if your yellow shorts and underwear are that color because they are urine-stained. For similar reasons, brown shorts and underwear are an even worse faux-pas.

Perhaps it would be good planning to buy undies the same colour as any potential staining and perhaps pop in a tumble drier conditioning sheet to calm down any escaping odours.

Yellow is an awful colour . The orange from us dutch is also eye hurting , but at least we only wear them when there is

a sport event . If a farang wants to wear it because he thinks it will give him more respect it would be the wrong reason .

The farang who I see occasionally wear it are picked on with the thais , they think it is funny . No bad thoughts whatsoever , its not in their nature anyway . For me personally i think it is a bit scary to look at , so nationalistic , at least it comes over to me like that . By the way they do not in particularly wear it for the King , but for Thai unity , thai rak thai ......Where I heared this name before...... :o It seems now like fashion ,the thaiway.
