Sanook reported on developments in the case of a parking attendant at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok who went to the airport police after being assaulted by a female motorist.

 

Rawan said that a woman in a white car got out and hit her. She had given her directions that had caused her to go round and round and was cross at being unable to find the exit.

 

After reporting the matter the woman in the video turned up at police request.

 

She is Tharathip, 25, a net idol.

 

 

After negotiations the victim emerged to say she had accepted 20,000 baht as settlement for what happened.

 

The net idol then apologized to society and explained that she had good reason to be cross in the first place.

 

But ultimately it was thankfully "all a misunderstanding".

I once was a NET Idol until my followers found out I was not anyone important but just a regular poster.

Should be straight to court, fined, community service and criminal record. No excuse for behaviour like this. A sorry and a wai not sufficient.

To be fair, what is the better option for the parking lady? That she gets 20k now or that the "net idol" will be fined and maybe go to court and this goes on maybe for years?

So it seems the "idol" was unable or too stupid to follow the signs to the exit... 

Yes.... the woman was completely wrong to attack the car park attendant - utter entitlement and spoilt b!tch syndrome with a superiority complex right there!!... 

 

 

That said - some carparks here can be a nightmare... It seems they are initially well designed until carpark staff put out thousands of cones to re-divert car-park traffic in the manner they think is better. 

 

I’ve often found myself looking for an exit and being forced to drive about a little bit until I give up and ‘nip-down’ a one wayer...  (central world car-park is somewhat like this)

Well to be fair she did say she had a good reason......so why on earth she paid 20k is beyond me.

Not even a yellow card. Lucky she is not a falang in Phuket.

To be fair she might be funny and cute and whatever on the "net".

But it seems some of those people with too many likes on the net think they are very important and everybody must love them...

True enough.. they can all appear funny and cute, but there is also the inflated sense of ego they get when they accrue a bit of money "do you know who I am " and all that
