I am not quoting anyone, who are you quoting? Is it you position that the UK was not arguably the greatest force for good in the history of the world? Is it also your position that the UK was not almost singly responsible for the eradication of the slave trade in the western world? I did not say the freed all the slaves, I said stopped the trade, and I did not say they did it overnight. So, if it was not the UK that eradicated the slave trade in the Western World, who was it?
