webfact Posted March 24, 2023 Share Posted March 24, 2023 By Tanakorn Panyadee Bangkok — A trailer truck on Thursday accidentally plunged from an elevated road in Bangkok and crushed the driver to his death. On March 23rd, at around 2:30 PM, the Highway Police received a report of a container truck accident that had fallen from the Thap Chang overpass, connecting Motorway Route 9 in the Prawet District of Bangkok. The truck had overturned and blocked the railway line between the Thap Chang and Lat Krabang train stations. Rescue teams were quickly dispatched to the scene to assist the unnamed injured driver of the truck. However, their efforts were unsuccessful, and the driver tragically passed away at the scene before being transported to the police forensic hospital.
