Thanks 'Luckydog'. :o

First thing in the morning, I put out a US flag infront of my house-Florida.

It's great news to know that, from now on all the flags that displayed in any store for sale, has to bear the label " Made in USA". I think it's long over dued.

This is my wifes first 4th of July as an American citizen. I am going to get drunk for her. It's the least I can do for a fellow American.

Happy 4th of July to my neighbours! Wishing y'll a great day. (Yeah! I get the day off, too.)

And look at those fireworks in NY! Americans always gotta show off.

Actually, the NYC fireworks haven't even started here yet as of this posting ( That picture was from last years event ).

It's actually very cloudy out now here, and looks like it's going to rain later... :o

Thanks for the best wishes 'Luckydog'. It is a beautiful clear sunny afternoon and still early afternoon here in California. I am looking forward to a big fireworks show at the beach this evening. My Thai wife will miss all the action tonight as she is currently visiting her folks in LOS. Happy Independence Day! :o

Thanks

Just because a flag "has" a lable that says made in the usa does not mean it "was" made in the usa.

Richard, Could you care to explain more on your statement ?

In my point of view as a consumer. I found it was quite disturbing to find a US flag, an ultimate symbol of this great nation are mostly made outside the country. Take it from the 9/11 attacked, days later I was looking for a small pin in the shape of US flag. every shop (I was living in NY then) I went, all carried with ' Made in China, 'Made in Korea' labels. Finally my cousin (living in Hawaii) sent me one, it was a beautiful handed craft- Made in Hawaii. She told me she also sent to the White House for Prez. Bush & First Lady.

I fully support Rep. Tom Rukavina, the law's sponsor, saying....

"The biggest honor that you can give the flag is that it be made by

American workers in the United States of America."
