Daily News Thai Caption: Stabbed his best mate!

Muang Phitsanulok police in northern Thailand were called to a rented property  in Ban Pa sub-district after a man was stabbed.

Dead at the scene in a pool of blood with two stab wounds to the ear and ribs was 41 year old Wacharin or "Ning".

A witness pointed the finger at his best friend Narong or "Bow", 32 who had arrived to settle a 2,000 baht debt after the victim stole it from him.

The two men were fruit traders at the Thai Charoen market.

They had a violent fist fight but the older man got the upper hand so the younger one produced a knife before fleeing on a motorcycle, reported Daily News.

The suspect was found cowering in a corner of the market by the police who took him on a reenactment.

He was charged with premeditated murder.

All for the sake of what amounts to about $70.

Lack of Emotional Intelligence, poor anger management. A lot of murders like this one are committed in a state of rage.

Quite.  He'll probably regret it when he calms down.  I hope so anyway (as it shows he is not a psychopath).

I'm curious as to whether some Thai people have a sort of "affluenza", where they cannot control themselves due to never being told "no".
