Sanook reported that Muang Samut Sakhon police in central Thailand were called to the provincial prison after a shooting incident.

It happened in a two story block used to house officials who work at the prison.

On the second floor they found Chalermphon, 43, and his wife Warinthara, 44, dead from gunshot wounds to the left side of the head.

A Glock 19 9mm gun and two spent cartridges were by the bodies.

Muang district police chief Pol Col Phichet Jaengkhaikhom said there had been a domestic dispute between the husband and wife who had been together 4-5 years.
