Sanook Thai Caption: Thought he'd run over and killed her

Tawatchai, 49, told Sanook how he was eating near a T-junction in Yasothon, NE Thailand, when an out of control Mazda pick-up hit a coffee shop and a clothes shop next door.

He rushed out to assist and reeled in horror as he saw what he thought was a torso in elephant pants under the wheels of the Mazda.

There was relief when it was realized that it was a manikin of a lady from the clothes shop.

Saphaporn, 45, the driver of the pick-up was not physically injured but was unresponsive.

They ferried him to hospital before the Muang Yasothon police arrived.

Always wondering why so many accidents happens on straight roads.. It seems you are nowhere safe, now a coffeeshop, and a shop, but there were restaurants too were people suddenly drive into....In a curve I would understand, but on a straight road??

You only need to look when going around corners, straight road, the vehicle drives itself! Again, they have the concentration span of a fly!
