The Narcotics Control Board in Bangkok, Thailand, announced the arrest of three drug traffickers and seizure of 1 gram of ice and 90 grams of cocaine yesterday.

 

The success was attributed to public cooperation, who provided information and clues through the Narcotics Control Board hotline (1386).

 

The accused, two West African men and one Thai woman, were arrested in the parking lot of Nawamin Road, Bueng Kum District, Bangkok, based on a tip-off received through the hotline, reported Siam Rath.

The public's prompt response and cooperation were emphasized, which led to the reduction of drug-related crimes and suffering in the area.

 

The ONCB hotline and website were recommended for reporting drug offenses, and more information such as drug type, used vehicles, or the nature of the offender was encouraged to increase the likelihood of arrest.

 

The arrest of foreign drug traffickers in Thailand was a testament to the effectiveness of public cooperation in combating drug-related crimes.

Very risky for non-Thais to engage in drug selling on the streets. It’s a matter of time for Thai drug dealers to rat them out.
