In a recent operation conducted by the Crime Suppression Division (CSD), the police have seized crucial evidence from a condominium in the Chatuchak area, reported Siam Rath.

 

The operation was led by Pol. Lt. Col. Jarungrit Pankaew, the commander of the Royal Thai Police. The condo was believed to be the residence of a close associate of Mr. Sangkaeo Sirisri, a suspect who was arrested on April 4th for tax evasion.

Upon investigation, officers discovered several bank account books and various documents related to Mr. Pramuan, a suspect linked to Mr. Sirisri. The documents revealed financial transactions exceeding 5 million baht, which the police believe were meant to evade taxes. The officers seized the items for further investigation.

In addition, the police also invited a young woman who occupied the room for questioning to determine if she had any knowledge or involvement in Mr. Pramuan's illegal activities. They also asked her if she had any involvement in the criminal activities with the suspect.

Tax evasion is a serious offense in Thailand, and the government has been cracking down on offenders. The police are urging citizens to report any suspicious activities to the authorities to help combat the problem. The CSD will continue to investigate the matter and bring the offenders to justice.
