A popular children’s book illustrator was arrested in Juneau, Alaska, on Sunday after allegedly posting anti-transgender notes threatening violence against children.

 

On Friday, which was Transgender Day of Visibility, the Juneau Police Department received an early morning report about a note found in a local store that “indicated a possible general threat against children," according to a statement issued by the department, several hours later, police received a second report about a similar note found on a bulletin board in the State Office Building.

 

The notes depicted an assault rifle displayed over the transgender flag, along with the words: “Feeling Cute Might Shoot Some Children,” according to court documents.

And in a neat little circle books he has illustrated are being removed from book shelves and he’s been dropped (cancelled) by his publisher.

The world has gone mad.  Why do folks do the things that create the need for such hatred and new ideology by government sources. Is it because now so much of everything is just done without thinking about the consequences and its always right in our faces.

The charge was "terroristic threatening" So I guess if someone suggests you might get shot or bombed, it doesn't mean that they intend to kill you. I mean, maybe you'll die, but you might not.

It's obviously a reference to the trans person involved in the recent school shooting.  So they weren't threatening actual murder, they were suggesting a trans person is likely to carry out another shooting.

 

As I said, both sides should leave the kids out of it.

There's no legal test that requires a child's testimony or evidence. It's adults who get to decide if there's been a threat made or not.

That is unfortunately the state of life now, it is after all a world full of "Cancel Culture". Trying to erase anything be it good or bad because of the actions of the person or how it now violates the current view of history.

That’s an odd question to ask.

 

It’s far more informative to rely on the indictment and Court verdict.
