I have an Xcell file on my new computer that I want to use on an old laptop which has an older version of Xcell. I have copied the file to the laptop but when try to open it I find I cannot, Any suggestions?

Try re-saving it as a legacy version.

I guess it saves it as xlsx. And your old version understands only xls. So save it as xls. If your software does not allow this then you can use an online conversion
