BANGKOK (NNT) - The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has launched a free shuttle service that connects Hua Lamphong Station to Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, providing a convenient and cost-effective travel option for passengers in Bangkok.

According to SRT Public Relations Director Aekkarat Sriarayanpong, the shuttle buses are available at both stations from 4:30 AM to 11:00 PM, and during rush hours, they will operate every 15 minutes between 4:30 AM and 10:00 AM, as well as 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

The first shuttle bus route will run directly from Hua Lamphong to Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal via an expressway. For the second shuttle bus route, the service will have five stops, beginning at Hua Lamphong and passing through the Yommarat intersection, Ramathibodi Hospital and Sam Sen train station, before reaching the new terminal in Bang Sue district.

Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal has 52 express and rapid trains to the North, Northeast and South, while Hua Lamphong offers 62 Bangkok commuter and sightseeing trains. Passengers are advised to arrive at their designated platform at least 20 minutes before departure. The shuttle’s timetable is available on the SRT’s official Facebook page or at www.railway.co.th.

Additionally, the SRT is also offering passengers the privilege of using SRT tickets for express trains, rapid trains, local trains and monthly tickets for the Red Line train from Bangkok to Don Mueang station.
